Azerbaijani armed forces on the night of Saturday has been at the frontline anti-aircraft guns and mortars. About it reports “Interfax” with reference to the press service of the defense Ministry of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR).
According to the Agency, on the North-Eastern (Martakert) direction Azerbaijani side 60 mm mortar (2 shell), the RPG-7 and AGS-17 (respectively 2 and 13 shells), anti-aircraft installation ZU-23-2 (15 shells).
A total of 65 recorded violations by Azerbaijan with the use of different types of firearms.
In the NKR defense Ministry added that the enemy’s activity was suppressed as a result of retaliatory action.
Earlier it was reported that in Armenia of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic were delivered tactical missile complexes “Point” and reactive systems of volley fire “Tornado”.
Recall the situation in the Karabakh conflict zone has intensified in the night of Saturday, April 2. Later, the parties reached agreement on the restoration of the ceasefire regime on the frontline, starting at 15:00 on Baku (14:00 Kiev time) on 8 April.
But already on 9 April, the parties to the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh accused each other of violating the ceasefire.
To note, Nagorno-Karabakh unilaterally declared independence from Azerbaijan after the war 1988 and 1994. The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict escalated into a full-scale military conflict in 1991-1994. In Baku they believe the territory that occupied the NKR, occupied.
In 1994, the parties signed a ceasefire agreement, however, the line of contact occur regularly armed conflict.
