NATO pointed to the vulnerabilities of Ukraine

В НАТО указали на уязвимые места Украины

The lack of interagency coordination at the operational level is a weak link in the defence of the country, according to the Alliance.

Ukraine meets the seven basic requirements of resistance to NATO, but there is a lack of interdepartmental coordination. This was stated by the head of the group of experts in the Advisory support of NATO Hasit Tanka, said on Thursday, February 21, the press service of the Cabinet.

Such a statement he made during a consultation session on the development of national resistance of Ukraine.

According to Tankey, Ukraine needs to improve inter-departmental coordination on a strategic operational level in the context of a hybrid war.

The expert of the Alliance said that Ukraine has a significant level of national resistance in all directions within the seven basic NATO requirements, and has powerful capabilities for crisis response at the operational and tactical level. However, according to him, there is a need to improve coordination on a strategic operational level.

“In the context of a hybrid war gaps interagency coordination creates vulnerabilities. Therefore, there is still work to do,” said Hasit Tanka.

Earlier it was reported that NATO recognises Ukraine’s aspirations to join the Alliance and expresses strong solidarity with her.
