In the Azov sea, an earthquake

The epicenter was located 58 km from Berdyansk, Zaporozhye region. Information about damage or casualties were reported.

Earthquake of magnitude 4.7 occurred on 15 October on the border between Ukraine and Russia in the Azov sea. It is reported by the European-Mediterranean seismological center on Monday, October 15.

The tremors were recorded at a depth of 10 km in 13.42, the earthquake epicenter is located 58 km from Berdyansk, Zaporozhye region.

At the same time, the Department of EMERCOM of Russia in Krasnodar region with reference to the geophysical service of Russian Academy of Sciences says that the magnitude was 4.3.

“According to the report of operational duty Yeisk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Temryuk district residents the tremors were felt, victims and destructions. Evacuation was not carried out. Infrastructure and economy work in a regular mode”, – have informed in the regional emergency.

Earlier a strong earthquake of magnitude of 6.4 occurred in the Okhotsk sea near the Kuril Islands, Sakhalin region of Russia.
