The foreign Ministry of Ukraine has announced a major investment and serious cooperation with several Norwegian companies.

Several Norwegian companies are committed to investing in renewable energy in Ukraine up to 300-400 million euros. This was stated by the foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin at a joint press conference with foreign Minister of Norway Ine Eriksen Soreide, announced on Tuesday, September 4, Gordon.

“I have to say that we have started working with a number of Norwegian companies that come in order to build capacity in the field of renewable energy. It is a very serious investment of 300-400 million euros in the context of solar energy, and in the context of hydropower,” said the Minister.

The Minister added that in Ukraine begins a “Norwegian of the month.”

“Every week we have a scheduled high-level visit. Parliamentary and bilateral Commission. We very much hope that the Prime Minister will be here in just two months. From the point of view of density of contacts, it doesn’t really examples,” – said Klimkin.

Recall, the EBRD has allocated EUR 25.9 million for three solar power plants in Vinnytsia region.

Later, the EBRD has approved a program for 250 million euros to support private projects in renewable energy in Ukraine.
