One of the topics that will be discussed at the meeting of U.S. President Barack Obama met leaders of Germany, Britain, Italy and France on 25 April in Hannover, will be the situation in Ukraine. This was reported by White house press Secretary Joshua Ernest, reports “TASS”.

“The President looks forward to discussing with European partners the joint efforts in the fight against terrorism and the need for more effective exchange of information between our countries and within Europe,” said Ernest.

According to him, the heads of state will also discuss “a wide range of other issues, including the campaign against the group “Islamic state”, migration, Syria, Ukraine and Libya”.

“They will also consider additional steps that allies should take to respond to calls in the Eastern and southern periphery of Europe,” added the spokesman.

Earlier, U.S. President Barack Obama during telephone talks with Vladimir Putin urged him to comply with the Minsk agreement on the settlement of the conflict in the Donbass.
