Oberg won the final mass start of the season

Эберг выиграла заключительный масс-старт сезона

Swedish biathlete won the Small crystal globe.

Swedish biathlete Hannah Oberg won the mass start at 12.5 km in the final stage of the world Cup in Holmenkollen.

The last stand five athletes came in with an awesome chance to win. Within one second led by Sweden’s Hanna öberg, Dominika Paulina and violet American Claire Egan. But only for 10 seconds they were behind the rapid skier Tiril Eckhoff and Denise Herrmann. But of these five, none of the girls could not do without penalty. Faster all with targets understood öberg and rode the first 10 seconds on the last lap went Eckhoff, but to regain the lead, despite all the efforts, she failed. The top three winners locked American Clare Egan.

This is the first victory Oberg at the world Cup, but, interestingly, this did not prevent her to win the Small crystal globe in the standings before the mass starts.

Interestingly, three of the candidates for the Big crystal globe (Anastasia Kuzmina, Lisa Vittozzi and Dorothea wierer) finished close to each other the 10th, 11th and 12th, respectively, allowing the Wearer to win the overall world Cup standings.

Ukrainian biathlete in the final mass start of the season did not participate.
