Maxim Stepanov believes that the President “exceeded his authority” and his decree “has nothing to do with the laws of Ukraine”.

Stepanov said that the decree Poroshenko – “strange document”, which “has nothing to do with the legislation of Ukraine” and the President “went beyond its powers”.

Maxim Stepanov argues that to dismiss him, the President can only on the proposal of the Cabinet, and a submission yet. Therefore, Stepanov intends to continue to perform their duties.

He noted that during his recent visit to Odessa last Friday, Petro Poroshenko suggested that he write a letter of resignation at own will, but he refused.

Maxim Stepanov recognized that is friends with the former Governor Igor Palitsa, a business partner, Igor Kolomoisky.

“And don’t see anything wrong with that”, – said Stepanov.

Earlier it became known that the President Petro Poroshenko replaced the Governor of the Odessa region, ousted from the post Maxim Stepanov and appointed to perform the duties of the head of state administration Sergey Parashchenko.
