Нефть преодолела отметку в $50

It was the first time in six months.

The price of Brent crude oil for the first time since 4 November 2015 exceeded 50 dollars per barrel, reports TASS.

The maximum transaction price of July futures for Brent oil reached a value of 50.08 per barrel, according to data the London exchange ICE Futures Europe.

The maximum transaction price of July futures for WTI crude oil also rose to its highest level since November 2015 and reached a value of 49.88 USD per barrel, according to data trading on the new York Mercantile exchange NYMEX.

Higher prices for oil futures is caused by data released yesterday by the significant drop in US stockpiles of crude oil and derivative energy carriers.
