The price of Brent crude oil exceeded $ 65 a barrel for the first time on 23 September, rising 1.5%.

The world prices for oil on Friday, 13 December exceeded $ 65 per barrel, the highest since September 23.

Thus, the cost of the futures on Brent crude for delivery in February 2020 in the course of trading on the ICE exchange in London grew by 1.45% to $65,13 per barrel.

Futures for WTI crude oil for January in electronic trading on the new York Mercantile exchange (NYMEX) rose $0,70 (1,18%) to $59,88 per barrel. WTI rose to its highest level since mid-September.

Note, the price for oil have grown after the OPEC+ came to a consensus on the need to extend the period of the Vienna agreement to reduce oil production, which is valid until the end of March 2020. The transaction is expected to extend at least the entire 2020 due to market effects of U.S. presidential elections.
