The price of Brent crude oil rose to its highest level since 6 November 2018. Prices are rising amid falling production.

The world price of the reference brand of oil continues to rise at auction on Thursday, March 14.

So, by 10:30 the cost of the futures on Brent crude oil with may delivery on the ICE exchange in London grew by 0.71%, topping $68 a barrel.

In recent times the price of this oil hovered above $68 per barrel on 16 November 2018.

The price of the futures on WTI rose by 0.58% to $58,6 for barrel.

On the eve of Secretary of state Mike Pompeo said that the United States intends to bring Iranian oil exports down to zero.

Earlier this week, oil prices grew on the statements of the Minister energeticheskoi Arabia Khalid al-falikha on a low probability of changes in the terms of OPEC+ at the upcoming meeting in April.
