In turn, the price of oil WTI with delivery in November in electronic trading on the new York Mercantile exchange (NYMEX) rose by $0,55 (0,74%) – to $74,84 per barrel.

According to the Bureau of environmental security of the United States (BSEE), almost 20% of the capacity of oil production in the Gulf of Mexico has been suspended due to hurricane Michael, moving from the shores of Cuba and Mexico to the coast of the United States.

In the national center of hurricanes of the USA do not exclude that Michael, which now belongs to the first category on the Saffir-Simpson scale, could strengthen to the third category.

Earlier it was reported that in the us States of Florida and Alabama declared a state of emergency due to hurricane Michael.

The price of oil fell below $ 84 on the statements of representatives of Saudi Arabia’s readiness to compensate for the reduced supplies from Iran.
