“We signed a letter of intent stating that the parties agreed to facilitate the rights of Ukrainian citizens in Poland and poles in Ukraine”, – said Denisov.

She stressed that in the context of Ukrainian citizens we are talking about the protection of migrants ‘ rights to an adequate wage, the response to dangerous situations, accidents on manufacture, etc.

“Of course, it is also about the avoidance of xenophobic attitudes”, – said Denisov.

She noted that he had discussed with a representative of the civil rights of Poland and the last case of beating 19-year-old Ukrainian student.

The Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine also informed that the office of the Polish Ombudsman urged the Ukrainian side to conduct an active educational work among the Ukrainians in Poland, they were not afraid to appeal in such cases to Polish law enforcement authorities. According to the Polish side, because of fear and distrust of the Polish authorities, the majority of these acts of violence is in the “grey zone”, and they remain uninvestigated.

Earlier today, Dennis expressed concern that in Poland three times increased the number of manifestations of hostility to the Ukrainians.
