The defense Ministry clarified whether the right to wear military uniform civilian members of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The Minister of infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan has no right to wear military uniform even during martial law. This was officially announced by the Ministry of defence in response to the request of the Agency Ukrainian news.

“The rules of wearing military uniforms and insignia samples are developed and approved by relevant Central Executive bodies, having authority over military formations, security Service of Ukraine, Management of state guard of Ukraine, foreign intelligence Service of Ukraine, State service of special communication and information protection of Ukraine. Wearing military uniforms with the insignia of soldiers by persons not having right to it, is prohibited and entails liability under the law”, – is spoken in the reply of the Ministry of defense.

The Ministry clarified that the right to wear military uniforms are the military, military service during the passage of the levies, reservists, cadets, students, and persons dismissed from military service to the reserve or resigned with the right to wear a military uniform.

Recall that after the imposition of martial law in ten regions of Ukraine, Omeljan on November 27 held an expanded meeting, which appeared in military uniform.
