The head of the Ministry of Infrastructure said that aware of the situation in the field of bus and freight services and knows about the facts of corruption.

The Minister of infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan promised the protesters, the owners of cars on avtonomera and marshrutchik that today, Wednesday, November 7, the re-turn to the Cabinet of Ministers with a proposal to dismiss the head of Ukrtransagent Michael Nonaka, UKRINFORM reported.

He also said that is already addressed to the government concerning the dismissal of Nonaka, but still to no avail.

“With all the facts I have already addressed the Cabinet regarding the resignation of Mr. Nonaka. Unfortunately, this was not supported. Today I will appeal again. There is a certain procedure that must be followed, so I think that even today there’s no decision, but the appeal I would,” said Omeljan.

He assured the audience that are well aware of the situation in the field of bus and freight services, tariff control, know the facts of corruption.

The head of the Ministry also urged protesters not to remain silent about the situation, but all charges must have evidence.

We will remind, today the owners of the cars on avtonomera and minibuses blocked traffic on Victory Avenue, supporting the event, which takes place in the center of the capital. Protesters demand dismissal of the head of Ukrtransagent Michael Nonaka and adoption of bills No. 8487, No. 8488, including a reduction in the excise duty on customs clearance of cars.

Note, on the eve of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on taxation and customs policy has supported and encouraged the Parliament to consider at the meeting of the two draft laws on the tax on import of cars with foreign registration.
