The guards found a stash of almost 17 thousand packs of cigarettes

The cigarettes were hidden in a specially made dummies which simulate peat briquettes.

At the checkpoint Krakovets border guards and customs officers found in the cargo of the truck a cache with a large quantity of contraband tobacco products. Cigarettes disguised as briquettes. On Tuesday, November 6, reports the press service of the state border service.

It is noted that checkpoint, the truck arrived after midnight tonight. Behind the wheel of the car was a 53-year-old resident of Lviv region, which was transported to the Czech Republic the fuel peat briquettes.

During check militiamen found out that among these fuel briquettes are also many specially-made dummy inside which packs of cigarettes.

After unloading and a full inspection of the car customs officers found 16 600 packs of contraband cigarettes (33 boxes). To explain the origin of illegal goods, the driver could not.

 

 

We will remind, in Kramatorsk, the SFS found a large stock of smuggled cigarettes.

Earlier in Chernivtsi region, the border guards near the border stopped the horse caravan, which the perpetrators tried to move the cigarettes in Romania.
