On the Internet collecting signatures for a recount of the results of the Eurovision song contest in 2016. A petition posted on the website Change.org.

The petition was made by a resident of Armenia Artur Hovhannisyan.

“This request shall be sent to the European broadcasting Union from all fans who do not agree with the results of the Eurovision song contest 2016. We understand that the vote of the jury and TV viewers – the process is hard and emotional, but the number of signatories of people shows that they believe that the “winner” of this year is not the one who should really win the contest. We have no doubt about the fairness and confidentiality of the contest, so we believe that it is necessary to revise the results,” – said in the text of the appeal.

Now the petition has received more than 156 thousand.

Note that the petition on the website Change.org have no legal force.

Recall that the Ukrainian singer Jamal took first place in the final of the Eurovision song contest in 2016. In second place – the representative of Australia demi Them, and the third – Russian singer Sergey Lazarev.
