How many Ukrainians in Poland is impossible to determine. Previously known as the figure of one million is conditional.

Now in Poland is about 40 thousand students from Ukraine. Of these, only 5-10% are planning to return home. This was told by the Ambassador of Ukraine in Poland Andrey dedica in an interview with the Commander in chief.

He also noted that the number of Ukrainians who come to study in Poland grows every year.

“Those surveys that were conducted among students indicate that 5-10% have declared that they want to return to Ukraine. The others are going to continue studying or living in Poland. That’s about half of them. The other half is going to go further West to study or work,” – said deshchitsa.

He also noted that this does not mean that young people do not return to Ukraine, because in the future they can form a basis to then to return to Ukraine and to invest in it.

At the same time, the Ambassador added that he called earlier figure of one million citizens who have migrated to Poland, is conditional as to determine the exact number of such citizens is impossible.
