The Primate of the Moscow Patriarchate considers the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, established in Ukraine in mid-December, will not last long.

The head of the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate Metropolitan Onufry appealed to Orthodox believers of Ukraine, urging them to remain faithful to the Moscow Patriarchate.

“Some are angry, some stagger – walked from one camp to another. You know that don’t have anywhere to go, we already have a path that passed by our ancestors, and we go the same way. We will not turn neither to the left nor to the right. I say this in regard to faith,” said Andrew Sunday, January 20, after the Liturgy in the Cathedral of the intercession of Boryspil, according to the Russian Interfax.

According to Metropolitan, the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, established in Ukraine in mid-December, will not last long.

“Now you want to make your such driven Church that was driven by people, not God. If the Church is controlled by man, is not the Church, it will be a political party. Its existence would be so long, how this policy will be at the top of human, social life. And we have seen many politicians and political parties that were strong, powerful, economically wealthy, and all this has gone down in history, all destroyed. But the Church is and will be”, – said the head of the Moscow Patriarchate.

According to him, the problem of believers not to fall away from the Church.

Recall that since the Unification of the Cathedral to the newly created Orthodox Church in Ukraine has already crossed the 100 parishes of the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate.
