OSCE plans on may 25 to open a new front line patrol base in Happiness

Special monitoring mission (SMM) of the OSCE plans tomorrow, may 25, to open a new front line patrol base in Happiness. This is stated on the official website of the organization.

In particular, it is noted that the opening of the patrol base will be held during the visit to the city the first Deputy Chairman of the SMM OSCE in Ukraine Alexander hug.

Note, advanced patrol bases are designed to extend the presence of observers in areas where there is greatest tension. “This will enable the mission faster and more efficiently respond to incidents”, – underlined in the message.

As reported previously, in January, the SMM, the OSCE opened a new front line patrol base in the Village of Lugansk. It was the eighth such mission base in the Donbas.

Recall, in addition, the patrol base of the OSCE mission deployed to the four government-controlled areas: in Volnovakha, Krasnoarmeysk, Svetlodarsk (Donetsk region) and in Novoaydar (Lugansk region) and in three districts outside of government control: in Stakhanov (Luhansk region), Gorlovka and Debaltsevo (Donetsk region).
