The former people’s Deputy from Communist party of Ukraine Volodymyr Bedika headed “DNR Parliament of the second convocation”. This is reported by the separatist media on Monday, November 19.

It is noted that Bedika is representative of the so-called “fraction” of the “Donetsk Republic”.

His candidacy has gained 98 votes. Only “Parliament DNR” consists of 100 deputies.

Mr Bedika was born in Makeyevka, Donetsk region. From 2010 to 2012 was the Deputy of Donetsk regional Council from KPU. Also Bedika worked as a Secretary of Donetsk regional Committee of the party and chief editor of the newspaper Kommunist Donbassa.

And in 2012 was elected a people’s Deputy of Ukraine from KPU (No. 18 in the list). In October 2014, was nominated by the Communist party in the Verkhovna Rada, but the party is not in Parliament.

After that, he was in uncontrolled territory of Donbass. In November 2014 became a “member of the people’s Council DND”.

Recall, November 11, were held “elections” in “DNR” and “LNR”. However, Ukraine refused to recognize the election results. Illegitimate they are also called in the EU and the USA.

In turn, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the current Ukrainian authorities are unable to solve the problem of Donbass. In his opinion, Western countries should not condemn the “elections” in “LDNR”, and what is happening there “political killings”.
