Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy paruby congratulated the singer Jamal on winning the Eurovision song contest in 2016. The appropriate appeal published in the press service of the Verkhovna Rada.

He noted that very wish in 2017 the Eurovision song contest was held in the Crimea.

“Jamal, you realized the dream of millions of Ukrainians – now Eurovision-2017 will be held in Ukraine. I sincerely wish that this contest was held in your country, which you are singing is in free Crimea”, – said the Chairman of Parliament.

According to him, very rightly, that Jamal defeated in the final Russian competitor Sergey Lazarev.

“Another symbolic fact that Crimean Tatar, whose family suffered from deportation, which is at the international competition Ukraine won the finals of the representative country of the oppressor, the aggressor.
