“When I was adopted the law on pensions, we had some concerns about the adequacy of incentives for people who would motivate them to work longer. But now we see that you came out on the right path” – said the head of the IMF mission Ron van Roden at the meeting with the Minister of social policy Andrei Reva.

We will remind, the new rules of retirement stuily in force since 1 Jan. The IMF demanded to increase the retirement age for the Ukrainians, but was found to be another option – increasing the minimum insurance period for retirement from 15 to 25 years.

The IMF mission will stay in Ukraine until September 19.
