Peskov called absurd linking of sanctions with the implementation of the Minsk agreements

Песков назвал абсурдом увязывание санкций с реализацией минских соглашений

The linking of Western sanctions against Russia with realization of Minsk agreements is absurd, said the President’s press Secretary Dmitry Peskov. About it writes “RIA Novosti”.

“We are not going with someone to raise this issue. It is with deep lack of understanding continue to refer to attempts to link the topic of sanctions against Russia with the implementation of the Minsk agreements. Enough looks illogical and absurd statement that the sanctions can be lifted over time after the implementation of the Minsk agreements”, – said Peskov.

He stressed that Russia is not a party to the conflict.

“Russia can’t implement the Minsk agreements. On the contrary, in the Minsk agreements are the obligations of the parties to the conflict in the first place, of Kiev, and we continue to note the absolute reluctance and unwillingness to follow the obligations, which is a signature of the head of Ukraine”, – said Peskov.
