Ukraine has issued a new interstate lawsuit against Russia over aggression in Donbas and annexation of Crimea to the international court of justice in the Hague. This broadcast “112 Ukraine”, said justice Minister Pavel Petrenko.

The lawsuit was prepared jointly with the Ministry of foreign Affairs. Other specifics Petrenko has escaped.

“There is another case, which is now already on the way, and we are working with the Ministry of foreign Affairs working on it in the international court of justice. I don’t want to tell details, soon you will know about it,” said the Minister.

He also stressed that Ukraine has already filed in the court of the Hague cases against Russia concerning the annexation of Crimea and occupation of Donbas.

“And one, and the second lawsuit was filed (in Donbass and the Crimea, – ed.) and not only in the Hague. We have a few interstate cases to the European court of human rights – they have five. The international criminal court filed a statement of Ukraine and the events on the Maidan and the events in the Donbas and in the Crimea. We also help ordinary Ukrainians, who suffered from the occupation of Donbas and annexation of Crimea, to prepare the individual actions – more than 2 thousand were lodged to the European court,” – said Petrenko.

Recall that in June last year the European Parliament has filed a lawsuit in the Hague Tribunal to investigate the occupation of the Crimea and part of Donbass.
