PF: the Recalculation of pensions due to the growth of the subsistence minimum in may touched 10 out of 12.2 million pensioners

The recalculation of pensions in connection with increasing living wage affected 10 of 12.2 million pensioners. This was during the briefing, which was broadcast channel “112 Ukraine”, said the head of the Pension Fund of Ukraine Oleksiy Zarudny.

“As you know, since may 1 this year carried out recalculation of pensions due to the increase in the minimum subsistence level for disabled citizens. The index rose from may 1 from 1074 to 1130 UAH. Accordingly, from may 1 has been increased to 10 different pension benefits, which depend on, or contain such a component as the minimum subsistence level for disabled citizens. I want to note that together with the allocations may 1st touched nearly 10 million of the 12.2 million pensioners consisting on the account in the pension Fund. That is, the allocation transferred almost 82% of pensioners,” – said Zarudny.

As you know, the Rada adopted the budget for 2016 envisages the increase of social standards in may and December. From 1 may the social standards increased by 6%. It is expected that the growth in December will be 10%.
