Ukrainian BMP will receive new equipment

The Polish state company PCO S. A will help to modernize the optronic equipment of armored vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed forces.

As the press service of the Ukroboronprom, according to the concluded contract, the Polish party will put to Ukraine of modern electro-optical equipment, including optical sights, periscopes and night vision devices, for re-equipment more than 30 units of army armored vehicles, including BMP-1, BMP-1КШ, BRM-1K.

The report notes that the signing of the contract was preceded by nearly two years of work, which included testing of the Polish equipment and sets for armored vehicles, as well as the codification and certification of equipment.

As explained by the Agency Interfax-Ukraine, Ukroboronprom, to date the contract has been entered into force, the Polish side initiated delivery of opto-electronic equipment in the interest of Ukrainian customer.
