Oil and gas company PGNiG has extended the agreement with Ukrtransgaz on the use of Ukrainian gas storage facilities.

The Polish gas company PGNiG has extended the agreement with the operator of the gas transportation system of Ukraine – the company Ukrtransgaz about the use of gas storage on the territory of Ukraine. On Tuesday, September 11, reported the press service of the Polish company.

“The extension of the agreement is the result of our interest in the Ukrainian gas market, where we have the image of a reliable supplier,” – said the Deputy Chairman of the management Board of PGNiG on trade issues Maciej Wozniak.

Noted that the Polish company has access to Ukrainian gas storage facilities from October 2017. It allows PGNiG to carry out direct trading activity on the Ukrainian market.

In General, the Polish company supplies gas on the Ukrainian market from August 2016. By the end of June 2018 PGNiG exported to more than 1.27 billion cubic meters of gas.

Earlier it was reported that the Polish gas company PGNiG takes part in regular talks on gas supplies to Ukraine.
