Poroshenko was removed from the post of Deputy commander of national guard

Major-General Valery Cooper in the National guard was responsible for public safety.

President Petro Poroshenko by his decree dismissed the Deputy commander of the National guard of Ukraine the General-the major Valery Cooper, with him having enlisted in the disposal of the commander of the NSU, the press service of the head of state on Monday, March 18.

“To dismiss Cooper Valery Ivanovich from the post of Deputy commander of National guard of Ukraine and to transfer it to the disposal of the commander of the National guard of Ukraine”, – stated in the text of the decree.

Major-General Cooper was appointed by presidential decree to this post, 7 June 2017. He was responsible for public safety. Before that, Cooper served as chief of staff of the Main Department of the NSU.

We will remind, earlier Poroshenko has sacked the head of the foreign intelligence Service of Yegor Bozhok. Temporarily the acting head of the foreign intelligence service was appointed Andrey Alekseenko.
