The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has accepted the credentials from ambassadors of some foreign countries: the Republic of Korea, Mr. Lee young GU, Malaysia, Datuk Aufa Bin Bachi, the Republic of Kazakhstan, Samatova Islamovich Ordabayev, the Argentine Republic (albert Jose Aloys and people’s Republic of China G. Du Wei.
During the conversation with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Mr. Lee Yang goo float of state expressed his gratitude for the humanitarian and financial assistance of the Korean side to our state.
It confirmed the interest in further deepening of bilateral contacts at all levels, including in the context of the celebration in 2017 of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The interlocutors paid attention to the development of trade-economic cooperation, cooperation in attracting Korean companies to participate in infrastructure projects, as well as prospects for deepening bilateral military-technical cooperation.
During the conversation with the Ambassador of Malaysia to the President of Ukraine noted the importance of further cooperation to bring to justice the perpetrators of the Downing of the plane Malaysian airlines MN17.
They also discussed issues related to the preparation of the visit of head of state in this country and the expansion of the legal framework of bilateral relations.
During the conversation with the new Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Ukraine Samat Ordabaev noted the importance of implementation of agreements reached during the official visit of the head of state to Kazakhstan, which took place in 2015.
It was also about strengthening the economic component of bilateral relations, in particular the next meeting of the joint Ukrainian-Kazakh intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation this autumn.
The Ukrainian President also invited the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to visit Ukraine.
Petro Poroshenko and the Ambassador of the Argentine Republic, Alberto josé Alonso discussed ways to restore active political and business contacts between the two countries at all levels.
The sides identified priority areas of bilateral cooperation, in particular cooperation in the energy, aerospace and aircraft industries, and also in agroindustrial sphere.
“The Ukrainian Diaspora is one of the largest in Argentina. This is the first community in Latin America, so well integrated into the Argentine community and now plays an important role in the economic, political, social and cultural sense,” said Alberto josé Alonso.
The Ambassador of Argentina in Ukraine also noted that Ukraine is one of the priorities of the new leadership of Argentina: “From the very beginning of his presidential term President Mauricio Macri has started a reboot of international relations Argentina and Ukraine is one of the priority countries for us in this context.”
During the conversation with the new Ambassador of China in Ukraine, Du Wei, President Petro Poroshenko stressed that the Ukrainian side highly appreciates the consistent position of China concerning respect for the territorial integrity, independence and sovereignty of Ukraine.
The head of state noted the necessity of continuing the Ukrainian-Chinese dialogue at the highest level and to strengthen economic and investment cooperation, particularly in the areas of agriculture, infrastructure and energy. Separately were noted the need for the current year the next meeting of the Commission for cooperation between the government of Ukraine and the government of the PRC.
