Poroshenko has dismissed Ukraine’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan

The head of state signed on 12 March a decree on dismissal of the Ambassador of Ukraine in Uzbekistan Yuriy Savchenko.

President Petro Poroshenko dismissed Yuriy Savchenko from the post of extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine in Uzbekistan, the press service of the head of state on Tuesday, March 12.

The corresponding decree published on the official website of the President.

“To dismiss Savchenko Yuriy Vasilyevich from the post of extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine in the Republic of Uzbekistan”, – the document says.

65-year-old Savchenko held the position of Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine in Uzbekistan since 2010.

We will remind, on December 7, 2018 Poroshenko has dismissed Oleksandr Ovcharov from the post of extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine in Senegal and concurrently Ambassador to Gabon, côte d’ivoire and Liberia.
