Petro Poroshenko has signed the law on the preparation to the finals of the Champions League in Kiev

We are talking about the document On amendments to section VIII Final and transitional provisions of the law of Ukraine On collection and accounting of single contribution for obligatory state social insurance.

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on Saturday, April 14, signed a law aimed at ensuring proper conduct in Ukraine of finals of UEFA Champions League-2018. About it reports a press-service of the head of state.

“President Petro Poroshenko has signed the Law of Ukraine No. 2373-VIII ON amendments to section VIII Final and transitional provisions of the Law of Ukraine On collection and accounting of single contribution for obligatory state social insurance in connection with the preparation and holding in Ukraine of finals of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Champions League amongst women of the 2017/2018 season,” – said in the message.

The law was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on 22 March 2018 and is aimed at ensuring implementation of commitments on good holding in Ukraine of finals of the UEFA Champions League in 2018.

The law stipulates that representatives or officials of member associations of UEFA, the members of the delegations participating in the final matches, including team members who have the right to participate in the finals, individuals accredited by UEFA, including employees and temporary workers, as well as representatives of media partners, UEFA and sponsors temporarily, until 1 June 2018, are exempt from calculation and payment of single fee for obligatory state social insurance.

Recall the Champions League final will be held on may 26 at the NSC Olympic in Kiev.
