Порошенко: Путину нечего мне сказать

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that Russian President Vladimir Putin does not want to communicate with him, “because he has nothing to say.”

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said at the press-konferentsii, December 16 that Russian President Vladimir Putin refuses to communicate with him, “because he has nothing to say.”

“The obstacle that we are already a year can not release a single prisoner from the prisons of the Russian Federation, ORDO and Crimea – is not that Putin does not want to communicate with Poroshenko. And that he doesn’t want to release them”, – said Poroshenko.

The President recalled that after the act of aggression of Russia in the Kerch Strait, he tried to contact Putin, but he refused to talk, citing “election campaign” in Ukraine.

“He refused (to talk) not because it is connected with the election process in Ukraine, but because he has nothing to say”, – said Poroshenko.

He added that Putin “did not expect that within 24 hours, which were held intense consultations with international partners, are statements of the group of seven, the EU, the majority of partner countries”.

“He was not what to answer”, – said Poroshenko.

We will remind, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has declared that does not respond to the attempts of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to speak on phone because he didn’t want to participate in his campaign.

According to Putin, he does not want and will not take part in the “simple combination” of the Ukrainian President.
