The head of state signed the law On amendments to some laws of Ukraine on increasing the social protection of servicemen.
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed a law that increases the social protection of servicemen. On Wednesday, October 10, the press service of the head of state.
So, the President signed the law On amendments to some laws of Ukraine on increasing the social protection of servicemen. Its implementation will strengthen the social protection of families of persons who died after dismissal from service due to injury, contusions, mutilation or disease received in connection with the protection of the country and offer them the rights for a lump-sum cash benefit, which is owned by the family members of persons died in the military status.
Also expanded the list of grounds for obtaining a lump sum to servicemen and entitled to receive a lump-sum cash benefits to family members of foreigners and persons without citizenship who were killed or died after dismissal from service owing to disease, injury, contusion or mutilation received during military service in the Armed forces of Ukraine.
We will remind, in August, Poroshenko has signed the law On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine in connection with adoption of law of Ukraine On peculiarities of state policy on ensuring state sovereignty of Ukraine on the temporarily occupied territories in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. They were guaranteed a higher level of social protection of Ukrainian servicemen.
Also on 20 July, the President signed the law on the social protection of victims of participants of the Euromaidan.
