The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko introduced to the Verkhovna Rada a bill that will hold elections in the unified territorial communities December 23, during the period of martial law. On Wednesday, December 5, reported on the Twitter page of the head of state.

The President added that at the moment has all the prerequisites for peaceful local elections.

Recall the martial law entered into force on 28 November. He claims the presidential decree on introduction of martial law for 30 days in Vinnytsia, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Kherson regions and the internal waters of Ukraine the Azov-Kerch water area.
