The President is convinced that Ukraine’s economy will receive a new impetus, which resulted in the export of Ukrainian products to the EU will increase.

Ukrainian exports to the EU in 2018 rose 17%. On Friday, November 23, during the meeting with students of National University of trade and Economics was announced by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

The head of state is convinced that Ukraine’s economy will receive a new impetus and the export of Ukrainian products to the EU will increase.

“As said a few days ago, the EU Ambassador Hugues Mingarelli, in 2013 the EU’s share was 25% of the total trade of Ukraine, this year – 42%. Reliable, largest, most efficient market. I am convinced that the Ukrainian economy will receive a new impetus. Our exports to grow, and in 2017 by 25%, in 2018 – a further 17%, and this is clear evidence that we are moving in the right direction,” – said Poroshenko.

Earlier the Ministry said that trade between Ukraine and the USA increased by 16%.

It was also reported that the export of Ukrainian goods to European Union countries in the first seven months rose 18.7%.
