The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will present at the NATO summit in Warsaw (Poland) Strategic defense Bulletin of Ukraine, which on Friday was accepted at a meeting of the national security Council and defense of Ukraine. This was announced by the Minister of defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak, reports “Interfax-Ukraine”.

“With regard to the Strategic defence Bulletin, which was adopted yesterday at a meeting of the national security Council and defense of Ukraine, I would like to say that all of that is turned into the Strategic defense Bulletin is a great work of many groups. In its development participated the famous company that gave us advice, studied our experience… the Direct participation of the counselors of the Office of the Alliance (Alliance – ed.), including analysts of the Alliance in Brussels, which together with our group worked every day for six months. We prepared a very high quality document which clearly identified all tasks,” – said Poltorak reporters after a ceremonial presentation to staff of new head of National defence University of Ukraine named. I. Chernyakhovsky on Solomenska square in Kyiv on Saturday.

He noted that the presentation of this document will be held at the NATO summit in Warsaw: “I think to present this document will be the President of Ukraine at the summit in Warsaw. There is full support from our partners on the basic positions that we have planned in the Strategic defense Bulletin”.

In the framework of the July NATO summit in Warsaw will host a meeting of the Commission Ukraine-NATO at the level of heads of state and government.

We will note, the strategic defense Bulletin was approved on may 20 the meeting of the Council, it provides for the reform of the Ukrainian army to NATO standards by 2020.
