Ukraine’s international reserves rose to $20.7 billion
International reserves of Ukraine has updated the five-year maximum after the receipt of funds under the guarantee of the world Bank.
Ukraine’s international reserves rose to $20.7 billion after admission Thursday, December 27, 349,3 million Euro loan to Deutsche Bank under the guarantee of the world Bank. This is with reference to data of the National Bank according to Interfax-Ukraine.
“Last time, the reserves exceeded the specified level in October 2013,” – said the NBU.
We will remind, the Board of Executive Directors of the world Bank on 18 December approved the granting Ukraine guarantees in the amount of $750 million in support of public policy. This guarantee is designed to help Ukraine to attract to the state budget in the international markets about $1 billion.
Ukraine 27 December attracted Deutsche Bank loan 349,3 million euros under the guarantee of the International Bank for reconstruction and development. The loan was used part of guarantee in the amount of $375 million in the Euro equivalent of the total amount of guarantee of the world Bank in the amount of $750 million.
The Finance Ministry also said that the involvement of regular credit for the unused portion of the guarantee of the world Bank is expected in the first quarter of 2019.
