The number of foreigners moving to Poland has increased.

This year more than 66 thousand of Ukrainian citizens applied for residence permits in Poland, reported on the website of the Polish office for foreigners.

Since the beginning of the year, the residence permit in Poland asked more than 100 thousand foreigners, which is 40 percent more than last year.

The largest group of foreigners who requested residence permit in Poland are Ukrainians – more than 66 thousand, followed by Belarusians – five thousand Indians and four thousand, the Chinese – 3,5 thousand and Vietnamese – three thousand.

In the vast majority of cases (87 per cent) we are talking about temporary residence permits in Poland for a period of three years.

Recall that Poland wants to be fenced off from Ukraine by a fence in the fight against African swine fever.
