In Ukraine it is necessary to build a three-tier pension system, says Minister of social policy Andrei Reva. He said this in the “Evening Prime” to “112 Ukraine”.

“Our ultimate goal is to build a three-tier system of pension provision: solidarity, mandatory funded and voluntary funded. That is the classic model. But in this model, each level of pensions has its own destiny. So, with all hands 75% of the basic pension is a payment from the solidarity system”, – said the Minister.

“The first thing we need to do to restore order in the solidarity system. If you look at the current legislation as it provides for the introduction of the second level, universally funded, there is a clearly defined requirement, when possible. This is possible when the Pension Fund deficit will be negated. That is, if you reach the stability of the current solidarity system. If today there are no conditions for her to do today,” – said Reva.

However, he adds, this does not mean that such a possibility will not arise tomorrow.

As reported, the international monetary Fund considers it premature introduction of the second pillar of the pension system. This was written by the head of the IMF mission in Ukraine, Ron van Roden in his article, reports “Economic truth”. In turn Rozenko said that the government was still accumulating his version of pension reform.

Earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman reported that the pension reform envisages increase of pensions since October, and cancellation of their taxation.
