Roshen advised consumers not to buy products in the spontaneous markets, to pay attention to storage conditions, appearance and packing condition.

Confectionery Corporation Roshen found a third party implementation non-conforming may not be entirely suitable products under the TM Roshen in the Donetsk region. About it reported a press-service of the company on Friday, August 10.

“We found selling substandard products organizations which have bought sub-standard products may not be entirely suitable under the contract for purchasing of packaging and raw materials, not products ready to eat. The Corporation did not possess any information about the sale of these organisations non-conforming products as finished confectionery products, because it is not consistent with the agreements with the buyer”, – stated in the message.

Roshen said that substandard products they carry including products with different character defects, however, are safe and suitable for consumption.

The Corporation have indicated that they intend to take measures to prevent the occurrence of similar situations in the future.

“In this situation, we advise consumers not to buy products in the spontaneous markets, to pay attention to storage conditions, appearance and packing condition. The buyer is also entitled to demand from the seller information on the product: on the composition, shelf life and the manufacturer”, – reminded in the Corporation.

We will remind, in the first quarter of 2018, the Corporation Roshen has significantly increased its exports to the EU of 22%. Among the main buyers – Poland, Lithuania, Germany, Bulgaria, Hungary and Spain.

Earlier in Roshen confirmed trade with Transnistria. In particular, the Corporation conducts trade with the Sheriff from Transnistria despite the disputed status of the region.
