Розенко: Накопительную пенсионную систему запустят в 2019 году

Rozenko told about the pension system

The launch of the pension system as a whole is a political issue, said Deputy Prime Minister.

The government plans to January 1, 2019 to enter the funded level of the pension system. This broadcast of a television said the Vice-Prime Minister Pavlo Rozenko reported on the official website of the Cabinet.

“Today, legislation for a three-tier pension system as a whole is formed and the commissioning of the second level is more a political issue. It was necessary to run this system 14 years ago. But I am convinced that the current government enough in the first place the political will to finally make this step and to give Ukrainians the chance to in the future do a decent pension,” – said Rozenko.

According to the Vice-Prime Minister, if the cumulative system was introduced 14 years ago, now people who retire, already would not have got 3-4 thousand UAH, and 6-7 thousand UAH.

According to him, one of the main issues that need to regulate for 2018, is to protect the pension contributions of citizens.

“The current law clearly stated that we all – the government and the Verkhovna Rada should undertake all necessary measures for 2018 to 1 January 2019 accumulative pension system has started to work. And in the foreground, of course, is the issue of protection of private pension insurance and savings systems. These things we need to write in detail and give a clear signal to people that their pension contributions will be fully protected from inflation and other negative processes,” explained Vice-the Prime Minister.

As reported, on October 3, the Verkhovna Rada passed the pension reform.
