Rozenko has charged to develop the schedule of deliveries of medicines for cancer patients, until 25 April

Vice-Prime Minister Pavlo Rozenko commissioned until April 25 to establish a concrete timetable of supplies of essential drugs by regions and take necessary action on timely carrying out all tender procedures for the procurement of medicines for cancer patients. About it reports a press-service of the Cabinet.

“We cannot afford the disruption of implementing a single program of treatment of cancer patients, especially children,” – said Rozenko.

In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of health to urgently finalize with the parliamentary Committee on health that the government submitted a bill to simplify the state registration of medicines that have already undergone this procedure in the US, the EU, Switzerland, Japan, Canada and Australia.

Simplification of registration of medicines in the government are convinced, will contribute to decreasing costs for the population.

As reported, during the hour of questions to the new government at the plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada on 15 April, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman told the Deputy head of the Ministry of health because of the situation with medicines for children with cancer. Today Groisman has promised to check the status of supplies of medicines for cancer patients, including children.

“We started to work on the issue of drugs. In this area we need to restore order. The fact that today the government is working with international organizations for purchasing of medicines, provides savings from 10% to 90% for some items. Today we have actually unblocked the supply of drugs. Today I will check the condition of the supply of medicines for cancer patients, including children. We will continue to take measures for the openness of this question”, – he noted.
