Improving social standards in 2017 will depend on the success of the legalization of the labor market. This was on a conference call, which was broadcast channel “112 Ukraine”, said Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko.

“During the fiscal year, we will look for opportunities to further increase of social standards, pensions, wages and the like. But it depends on how effectively we will be able to perform the task of 3200 UAH, how can we legalize a labor market, to legalize wages and to obtain additional funds to the Pension Fund, the state budget of Ukraine. Additional funds to the Pension Fund will give us the opportunity to solve more social problems that are acute for us and our seniors,” he said.

Earlier, Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman said that the government does not exclude the revision of indicators to improve the social standards in 2017 following the implementation of the budget of the current year.

Recall that in Ukraine on 1 December, entered into force a law increasing the subsistence minimum to UAH 1544, while the monthly minimum wage is UAH 1600 1550 UAH, and also the resolution of Cabinet of Ministers increases salaries of workers of establishments, institutions and organizations of separate industries of the budget sphere.
