A new version of the Memorandum with the International monetary Fund provides for the adoption of the pension reform and the beginning of the pension changes from 1 January 2018. This was announced during the Internet-conference in the press center of LigaBusinessInform, the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko.

“In the social sphere I do not see any threatening situation or intention to restrict the rights of pensioners. In the new version of the Memorandum with the IMF issued a rather General and quite correct formula, and certainly spelled out the need for the provision of the pension reform to Parliament and vote to the new pension changes have begun to work from January 1, 2018, ” he said.

This Rozenko said that in the last version of the Memorandum with the IMF was no mention of raising the retirement age. Recall, the Reuters news Agency, citing sources in the NBU reported that Ukraine and the IMF signed a Memorandum of cooperation. Later this information was refuted and the national Bank and the Finance Ministry, noting that the document will be signed in the near future.

The head of the NBU Valeria Gontareva said that the final text of the Memorandum was received in the NBU the evening of March 1 and the national Bank are ready to sign it.
