Russia and Turkey agreed on a comprehensive ceasefire in Syria. It will be presented to the parties to the conflict. This writes the Turkish news Agency Anadolu, citing sources.

It is reported that Ankara and Moscow have agreed on a plan involving the distribution of the ceasefire on the entire territory of Syria.

According to the newspaper, the agreement will cover all areas where there are fights. The parties to the conflict will be asked to stop fighting from 00:00 on 29 December.

It is noted that if the agreement is implemented, the parties to the conflict, with the assistance of Turkey and Russia will start in Astana in discussions on a political settlement of the conflict.

Turkey and Russia are guarantors of the settlement.
