The Russian side ignored the remark of Kiev, that the separatists have the newest Russian arms.

Russia in the Hague said that the separatists in the Donbass found the weapon in the mines. This was stated by the representative of Moscow Ilya Rogachev.

The Russian side claims that the weapons found in the mines and picked up “left by the fleeing Ukrainian army”.

“The main source of weapons came to the rebels – it supplies the Soviet era, which was in the territory of Ukraine. Ukraine has filed a lawsuit in the international court of justice in the Hague on January 16. Kiev intends to bring Russia to justice for committing “acts of terrorism and discrimination for its aggression against Ukraine.”

The lawsuit was filed under the International Convention for the suppression of the financing of terrorism and the International Convention on the elimination of all forms of racial discrimination.

Proceedings in court are held 6 to 9 March 2017.
