An international group of scientists, including experts from Britain, USA, Portugal and Germany, explained the three-dimensionality of space. Article this study was published in European Physical Journal C, reports Phys.org.

According to the theory, proposed by scientists in the early stages of development of the Universe, about 13.8 billion years ago, a large part of the world of matter was in a state of quark-gluon plasma.

In the process of phase transition the quark-gluon plasma in the plasma there were protons and neutrons, which formed the nucleus of the chemical elements.

As for the three-dimensional Universe, the scientists explained by the fact that the nodes of the power tubes connecting the quarks and antiquark, are sustainable only in three-dimensional space.

The system of pipes that permeates the world with a higher number of features for the changes to exist for a long time could not.
