Zeitullaev UN sent an open letter with a call to continue the pressure on Russia to release Ukrainian political prisoners and rights of the Crimean Tatar people.

In fact, when the Crimean Peninsula was in the legal field of the Russian Federation and Russia accepted the illegal and unconstitutional decisions… in his address asking you to continue to provide confining pressure on the government of the Russian Federation to the complete release of all illegally detained in the prisons of the citizens of Ukraine and respect for the rights and freedoms of the Crimean Tatar people”, – wrote Zeitullaev.

He pointed out that illegal decision taken in the Crimea in the fight against extremism and terrorism, the rules of holding peaceful assemblies, and recognition of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar extremist organization, criminal cases and searches of journalists, abductions and displacements on the territory of the Russian Federation of citizens of Ukraine” and noted that, while in prison №1 of Rostov-on-don, declared an indefinite hunger strike.
