Ukraine’s ratings remain at B-/b with a stable Outlook.

International rating Agency Standard &Poor’s confirmed the credit ratings of Ukraine at B-/b with a stable Outlook.

The Agency skazno that after a strong drop in GDP and a jump of inflation in 2015, the macroeconomic picture in Ukraine has improved with a return to positive growth and low inflation.

Recall that credit ratings are a measure of creditworthiness of the country. The B rating means that the Issuer is solvent, but adverse economic conditions are likely to adversely affect its ability and willingness to carry out debt payments.

Last month, Fitch upgraded the long term rating of Ukraine and the IMF kept the growth forecast for the economy of Ukraine.
