The AMC suspected pharmacies in collusion

В АМКУ заподозрили аптеки в сговоре

In the Parliament introduced the so-called “pharmacy” bill

The antitrust Agency will supervise the implementation of the Declaration of refusal of the marketing contracts of all pharmacy networks.

Declaration of pharmacy chains on the readiness to abandon the marketing agreements can be regarded as a conspiracy. This was stated by the state Commissioner of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) Svetlana Panayotidi.

A Declaration of intent to withdraw from 1 January 2019 from the conclusion of the marketing agreements and the receipt of any income from pharmaceutical manufacturers for the provision of marketing services was announced by the leadership of a number of pharmacy chains on 5 November.

“First, I’m already looking forward to the 1st of January, to look at the implementation of the Declaration of refusal of the marketing contracts of all networks. Secondly, it is interesting in principle, since such a call looks as anticompetitive concerted actions, in other words, the conspiracy of pharmacy,” wrote Panayotidi in Facebook.

As notes UNN, rescission of marketing agreements between pharmacists and pharmaceutical manufacturers have voiced MPs. For this, the Parliament introduced the so-called “pharmacy” bill No. 8591.

Earlier it was reported that AMKU fined four pharmaceutical companies as a whole more than 18 million hryvnia for artificially inflated drug prices.
